We hope you are currently enjoying the Nike+ SportBand, but we know some runners have had trouble with the display. These include issues with water sealing, blemishes on the screen, and numbers not reading clearly.

Because this product was not meeting our quality standards, we issued a voluntary quality return in November 2008. If you are still a SportBand owner, we wanted to make you aware of your options prior to the launch of an improved SportBand in Summer 2009.

If your SportBand is working well, great. No need to do anything.

If you've experienced any of the issues mentioned above, you can return your SportBand to the place of purchase for a full refund now, or replace it with a new and improved one this summer.


Our goal is to give you the best possible running experience. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve the Nike+ SportBand, and invite you to contact Nike customer service if you have any questions.
